Costa Brava in Spain

In Costa Brava the three Magi bring the Christmas presents as shown in this video. The legend says that when the sun sets a ship arrives at the harbour with the three Magi aboard.
Why do tourists love Costa Brava so much? Costa Brava means ‘Wild Coast’ and this describes the certain character that the landscaped has. The many cliffs and rocks dominate the coast which creates an astonishing view for those who visit. Standing on one of the cliffs, while watching the sunset and the waves that crush upon the rocks, is an unforgettable sight.
This region of course has much more to offer such as white sandy beaches and several delightful villages. Your self catering holiday in a NOVASOL holiday home gives you and the family the opportunity to explore and experience all of this. You can go for a relaxing day on the beach or watch cultural attractions such as Montserrat; an abbey built on top of a mountain. Even the trip up there is beautiful and unique. You could also visit the volcanoes of Garrotxa or climb in the Pyrenees.
The most interesting and busy city in this area is Barcelona. Here you will find “La Rambla” which is a wide street that goes from the old harbour up to ‘Plaza de Cataluña’; a town square with shops, cafes and a small shopping centre. Along the streets of Barcelona you will find many restaurants, clothing stores, beautiful flowers and so called ‘Tapas-bars’ that serve typical Spanish food. There are also many galleries and artists who showcase their art. You could drink a glass of Sangria while enjoying life in this amazing city. NOVASOL has holiday homes for self catering on your city break in Barcelona.
Empuriabrava is also exciting to visit. With its fine sandy beaches, maybe just in front of your NOVASOL holiday home, this town is perfect for children and adults alike. People who love to sail will also enjoy this town because of its many canals. Almost all the house owners in this town have small boats in the canals in front of their houses.
Costa Brava is delightful to visit no matter what time of the year it is. Staying in a NOVASOL holiday home for self catering will make it even more amazing.
